The atmosphere during a train trip of several days with the Trans-Siberian Express is expressed in a very catchy way in this documentary of about 25 minutes. The trip from Moscow to Beijing starts slowly but goes on consistently. The viewer will see everything through the eyes of a traveler on the train, daydreaming or staring over the slowly changing, empty Siberian lowlands. Nameless villages and towns and railway stations are passed. With the train as a cocoon you forget the future and the past and the only thing what counts is the present.
