My Genius Brother Harry

This poetic portrait about the film maker’s brother is in fact an ego doc and as such participatory. A call about the imminent closure of its ancient church is the reason for director Roy Dames discovery that the death of his brother in 1974 is not a finished story, but a tucked away past. What influence have the worldview, belief and especially the death of his brother on the life of the filmmaker to the present day? Though neither the filmmaker nor his brother are well-know persons, the film is relevant because it shows the psychology of someone growing up in an calvinistic enviroment.
