Hacking Justice
Hacking Justice shows you who is who and what is what. In the complicated context of world politics and international law there is the Julian Assange or Wikileaks Case. The case is the focal point of a legal war being waged over the future of the internet: the protection of personal and/or classified (government) data, and freedom of expression. The antagonists are on the one hand Julian Assange and his legal team, headed by the famous jurist Baltasar Garzon who try to secure freedom of speech. On the other hand are the United States authorities and allies that want to keep their backdoor politics away from the public.
The antagonists find themselves in a heated arena where one saying holds especially true. Some people do good things that turn out to be bad and some do bad things that turn out to be good. With unique access to the Ecuadorian Embassy where Assange has been a political refugee since 2012, Hacking Justice enables the viewer to form his own opinion.
