The Brussels Business by Friedrich Moser & Mathieu Lietaert

The documentary BRUSSELS BUSINESS gives inside information about the lobbyists and the way they are lobbying in Brussels Belgium. Those lobbyists are a networks of high ranked representatives of Muli-nationals, Banking Institutes, and Think Tanks forming the ERT (European Round Table), who use their power to influence European Rulings, European Policies, and the wording of the text for those legislations and policies. They provide ideas and proposals to the European Commission with a common goal to open world-wide markets and remove all market barriers. Directors Friedrich Moser and Matthieu Lietaert attempt to explain how the political, social and business decisions made in Brussels have been and are still being influenced by lobbyist organisations. In this film we follow 2 men: one a political activist fighting against lobbying corruption by a watchdog organisation in Brussels, the other is a “star” lobbyist in European and international trade issues.. Pascal Kerneis, is the "star" lobyist" who was employed with EBF (European Banking Federation) for nine years. In Brussel there are about 2500 Lobby organizations and 15000 Lobbyists which, after Washington D.C., are the second largest Lobby-industry in the world. This documentary will show how lobbyists are connected to the EU Elite and provide you with an insight view of the way lobbyists are working and are able to influence or even manipulate the European Commission and/or European Parliament. Who runs the EU ?
