On another skin by Yves Mora

For Jef and Kostek, tattoo artists, tattooing is more than just inked needles crisscrossing the body. By following them in their travels, the director Yves Mora makes us enter the intimacy of the tattoo sessions, which with them are full of listenings, exchanges and emotions. They create a bridge between the world of art and everyday life, reinventing relationships with others, relationships to the body and between bodies. Thus, they spread throughout the world a singular fresco, skin to skin, passers of dreams and freedoms. The film follows in the footsteps of a nomadic work of art engraved on the skin, an intensely human discovery. Shot in Brussels, Berlin, Paris, Lyon, Strasbourg, Athens, Prague, Oslo, Bergen, Stockholm.
