About Glauber Rocha
Glauber Rocha made 15 movies, essays, novels and plays. His films were well-known for their political themes and their particular style and photography. Rocha is regarded as one of the best Brazilian directors of all time and leader of the Cinema Novo movement. On August 22, 1981 Rocha died at the age of 43 due to a lung disease.
