Like many young Dutch Hindus, Monique is caught between two totally different cultures. Monique wants to break free from the rigid Hindu values but at the same time, she doesnt want to disappoint her parents. She has an important decision to make: will she pursue a carrier and marry a decent Hindu boy like her parents want her to, or will move out as a single woman and chase her dreams to become a Bollywood dancer?
