Arlit: Second Paris

Arlit, once was a booming uranium-mining town in Niger. In Arlit are living migrants from different parts of Africa and the Tuaregs who live there. In Arlit, to which is often referred to as a “Second Paris” is no work for the people and a lot of them wait to undertake the hazardous journey to Europe. In the last part we watch the health concerns of the mineworkers, pollution, and the illness due to radiation.
