In the country of peace and diplomacy, the violent act of sacrificing one's own child is probably more common than one would want to admit. Poverty, machismo and inequality are social phenomena which penetrate the family circle. This documentary investigates a family tragedy which conceals the power games and struggles in this Central American El Dorado which is Costa Rica. English subtitles will soon be available.
